PCV oil consumption

My new engine is sucking oil throught the PCV valve. I'm using Motorsport cast aluminum covers with no baffles. Any ideas on how to add external baffling to the PC valve/socket? I'm trying to restrict the flow with an oricfice in the filter side to develope a couple of inches of vacuum but still need some kind of baffle.

I had a set of Mickey Thompson covers one time and they had a piece of thin brass formed to cover the inlet of the pcv valve and it was mounted with two machine screws to the underside of the valve cover. The screws showed through the top though, but maybe your valve covers are thick enough to drill and tap without going through? You also have to make sure you negotiate this between the rocker arms.

I've seen wire mesh used inside the valve cover. It was folded several times and packed covered with small metal plate with a opening on one side.

Just put stock covers on, with the stock baffles!
