EGR code after hedder install.
Well I put Banks hedders on and now I got this dam code P0401 Gas recirculation flow insufficient detected. I replaced the Differential Pressure Feedback EGR sensor and the code still comes back after like 30 miles, The truck never had any codes prior to this I need help the CEL is bugging the crap out of me.

Check the vacuum lines running to the EGR, EGR solenoid, vacuum reservoir, etc. Those lines get real brittle and crack easily. Chances are you had to disconnect or at least move the lines while installing your headers. Also, if the tubes are hooked up incorrectly, it will prevent the EGR from functioning as well. There should be a vacuum diagram under the hood of your truck that shows how the hoses should be connected.

i melted the vaccum line going to the egr valve when i had the upper intake off and mis-routed it and it burned on the pipe to the EGR valve. I wasted money on the EGR Position sensor before i found the problem. Hate it when i **** money into the wind.
