v10 headers?

I know the banks headers are very popular. Has anyone used the hedman headers and ypipe? They are on summit for 500 some dollars. I just want to know how they compare to the banks.

Headers of any brand offer very little in terms of MPG gains and only a slight increase in power. You will gain more exhaust noise tho from what I have read.

Banks is way overpriced in my opinion. 409 S.S. headers (uncoated) and y-pipe for $1200. I'm going with a set of JBA Titanium ceramic. A few guys here have Thorley and love them. The thorleys and heddmans are steel and will rust eventually even if they are coated. Haven't heard anything about the heddmans yet. You can also get E-bay headers for under $200. The stock Y-pipe should be modded if using a set of headers that does not come with a Y-pipe.

The 2V V10 has more restrictive log manifolds than the newer 3V and will benefit more from the headers. The 3V manifolds are cast more "headerlike"
