Brake Hydroboost unit

When he has them, they are way cheaper I believe. PowerBrakeBob at Power Brake in Long Beach Ca is one of the few Bosch Dealers qualified to sell New Bendix 'Boosters. Bosch now owns the rights to them. Bob also has rebuilt ones. They are basically all the same, with OEM external variations. (The larger vehicles use a HydraMax, but not appropriate for the usual stock PSD). As I have said in other places this evening, they should be accompanied by a Magnefine filter as cheap insurance. You may have to wait on a new one, there is no core with these, and they are cheaper than OEM New, but a rebuilt should be available anytime. This all is between you and Bob.

My neighbor bought a rebuilt one from PowerBrakeBob. Fast service and no problems. I second the recommendation.
Also, when mine was replaced under warranty from Ford. It was a remanufactured unit. No issues for 4yrs now on it.
Also definitely use the Magnafine filter. It's the same as the Ford one for
less $$$. Be sure to flush the system out real good too. No sense in getting any debris in the lines to start out with.
Good luck,
Austin
