1999 Expedition knocking 5.4
Our Expo had been good to us but now she's knocking. On a cold startup it's knocks for about 20 seconds. Then progressively less, until it's warm it knocks pretty bad under accelaeration. Once warm it knocks some under acc. but not terrible. Stutters a little too.
I've been running fuel injector cleaner and even a can to Lifter Medic through a short oil change cycle.
What should I be doing. ShoppIng for a new block?

Sounds like a sticking lifter, you'll need to get an engine stethascope to zero in on it a bit better. I recently ran some SeaFoam through my engine and cleaned it up real nice. Go to their site and read about it, there is another product called QMI, but couldn't find it to test it, but they claim to be better (who doesn't). Also, have you checked the manifold gaskets, they are not known for their longevity and move around causing a coming and going noise.
