Hey guys putting 514 in 69 f250 2wd. need to know about putting all that power to the ground. bigger tires, more weight, esc.esc any information would help
Pretty big horse isn't it? I would say right off the bat you're going to need wider tires and probably some traction bars, and a light foot to get it moving otherwise you'll be sitting still and burning up rubber wondering why you're not moving.
Hey I'll tell you what , if I had a 514 C.I. I'd be putting in 350 or maybe even 307 Gears and make it work. with all that power you'd still be able to lite them up any time you want .

If you can get ahold of them, put a set of 3.55's or better in to replace those 4.10's; they'll still light up anytime, and you'll get to a good start easier as well.
I was at the junkyard the other day; and saw a bumper welded out of 3/8's sheet steel. They had filled the bumper with sand to add weight to the rear... something to think about...
