Filters- Flow Restriction versus Filtering Ability

Recently bought an AIRAID intake system to help my truck breath easier, have not installed it yet. Then I really started thinking about it. The question is not just for AIRAID, its generic. Everything else being equal, if a filter has a much lower air restriction rating, seems like its filtering capability would suffer. I looked at the post that discussed airfilter testing. I don't want to trade an air-flow fix for a long term engine problem due to poor filtering. I live in FL, rarely on dirt roads, pull a small boat and use my slide-in camper once in a while. I've written to AIRAID for their ISO 5011 (J726) test results - Friday. Waiting to see if they will give me info. Is there a filter out there that has both low restriction and good-to-great filtering capabilities?? Thanks. 2000 F350 Crew/Dually

Check out this link http://www.fs.fed.us/r2/fire/rmacc/engine/docs/spec.airfilter.pdf the AIS filters using a different approach than a single pass-through, like all others.
