What is this Relay for?

What is this Relay for?
Its the one mounted on top of the engine just in front of the glow plug relay.I've checked in my book and cannot seem to find what it controls,Injectors maybe?Anyways the starter relay and glow plug relays are new.This one is old and crusty so I figure I'll change this before It goes on the road.Thanks for any help.

O.K. so I geuss it would stand to reason there is some sort of air intake pre-heater somewhere on the eng.

Yes there is,look right behind the relay,straight back (towards the turbo).You will see it sticking out of the cold side inner cooler pipe.
Just follow the wire from the relay to the heater.Allot of people delete it,but if you live in a cold climate,i would leave it.

Yea it gets pretty cold where I am in New York.I did a search and found the parameters as to when the heater works.The only one I'm not sure of is the oil temp.So I'll keep it just in case.Thanks again for your help.
