Rear sensing alarm
Had to install a hands free kit for my cell phone yesterday. Pulled the dash bezel for access and unplugged the switch for the sensing (back up) alarm.
Put everything back together, now the alarm does not work. As soon as I put the truck into gear the switch light indicates "off" and will not go to the on position.
Any suggestions?

I've unhooked that switcj many times to do my radio and handsfree install too, and it has always gone back with no problem. You might have not plugged in the wire harness properly, or maybe even broke a connector pin. Check the wiring again to make sure.

That's showing that there is a fault in the system. It does sort of a 'continuity check' and shows the symptoms you describe if there is a missing sensor (I've disconnected my whole harness and get the same indications).
