I've got 2 Excursions..a 2000 Limited, and a 2003 EB, both V10's. They drive and handle completely different, and always have. (I've owned both since new)
The 2000 handles like a much lighter and more nimble truck, the steering is much lighter and a LOT nicer to drive.
I'd sure like to get the 2003 to drive the same way. Anyone have any ideas as to why they handle so different?
BTW the 2000 IMHO is a MUCH better built truck than the 03. MUCH tighter and quieter, and overall fit of the body is MUCH better.
03 saw a new suspension introduced. Supposed to be softer for the soccer moms i believe? Im thinkinga bojt going to the F250 springs, my 04 F250SD at work rides a lil harsher but it seems like i can throw it arounsd a lil more due to the tighter springs.
