Hello all. I am fairly new to the whole forum craze and also fairly new to diesel trucks. I have a '06 F250 w/ 42k miles. The only "mods" I've made are a Hypertech programmer and 35" tires. Today my check engine light came on and I plugged my programmer in to get the DTC's. Now I can't find any info on these codes. The codes are P0460--P0463--P0528. The truck seems to run fine but the not knowing is driving me insane. Please help!!!!
0460 is fuel level circuit, 0463 is fuel level circuit sensor high, 0528 cannot find any reference. I would say they are trash codes caused by your programmer. Reinstall your stock program and see if they come back, otherwise I say they are bogus.
You can do a Google search for 'OBD II codes', or something similar, and find several different sites for looking up these codes. (www.obdii.com, for example)
where are you getting this information??? I have spent a lot of time in the internet looking for a list of these codes and have come up empty handed.
The 6.0 bible in the tech folder at the start of the 6.0 forum has many, but not all of the codes. I got yours from here: http://www.nology.com/OBD2FaultCodes.htm but it didn't have the p0528 code. You probably need to check that code out for sure as it may mean your fan isn't working.
