Has anyone experimented with NOS on a 5.4? Thanks for any help

 

What is your question exactly? I've used NOS but not on a 5.4~

If your knuckles ain't bleeding you did something wrong.

'72 F-250 "Hi-Boy" 4x4, Dana 60/HD44, FE428 @ 400+ ponies , 4-speed, custom suspension w lift, mud on black.

 

I was wondering if anyone had used nos on a 5.4 and if so what H.P. rate did they apply? Was there anything as far as engine mods that had to be done. And what was the net result if they did.

You might check out the latest Muscle Mustang's and Fast Ford's. They did an article about putting NOS on a 99-up Mustang which has a returnless fuel system. They picked up like 2 tenths in the quarter. The company that provided the NOS equipment appeared to be pretty knowledgeable about new Fords.
