Oil Pressure Question

What is the proper oil pressure for a 1955 Ford 292 V8 engine be at running timperature, both idling and at working speeds? Thanks!

I don't know what the factory specs are of hand. But on my Y's as low as 10 psi at idle is acceptable to me Although the more the better here. As Y's of this vintage had a problem getting oil to the rockers. 30 to 50 is good at WOT or even at highway speeds. JMHO

OK. Great! Thanks a lot. I guess I'm ok there as I am registering 10 at idle and 40 at running speed when the engine is hot. Whew! Thought I had a major oil pressure problem to cope with.

My 57 Ford Fairlane used to peg the 80psi oil pressure gage when cold.

When it warmed up it did about 30 at idle and 60+ at higher RPMS.
