Question What have I done wrong?

Well, I hope you'll aren't tired of hearing my problems, so here is were it stands. I have finally gotten the freeze plug problem fixed, I hope! If you are new to my "project", this is what has and is happening now. I replaced fuel filter and after I did ,it began smoking blue after start up from them on, more than before filter change. I cracked all injectors and thought pass. side firewall injector didn't make difference to motor running. I didn't know how old injectors were, so I ordered new turbo injectors, and return line kit. I replaced all injectors, return lines, CDR valve and stupid freeze plug (the one behind oil cooler blew out, JASPER REBUILD!!). I have replaced all return line to the tube going back to tank. The truck seem to have more power, but she wants to smoke up the neighborhood, and I mean whole neighborhood, when first started and then lightly smoke while idealing. What should I do next? It seems like it's getting too much fuel at idle, but when you barley push on accel. it idles better???? Going up interstate 65-70 runs good, no smoke, get off exit, idle and little blue smoke. I don't want to drive a fumingater, so please help. Thanks and God Bless

Is the fast idle working...... do you set it every start COLD. What is the CURB IDLE speed set at should be 650 rpm (auto in drive). With new injectors the timing may now be off........

I'll have to do a double check on the idle RPMS, but I think around 800, Factory tach. The fast idle wasn't even hooked up???? I hooked it up and we'll see tomorrow. The oil presure on an after market gauge is arround 70PSI When accelerating and around 45-55 at idle. It kinda acts like a vaccum leak or something, I checked the lines going to pump and they all had vaccum, and when I disconected them one at a time they didn't make any difference in idle. The engine shackes at idle, more than my 6.2 Chevy.I have not messed with the fuel setting or any setting on the pump. Could it be pump? Should I buy compression gauge and if so How do you check compression? Could I use the gauge on other motors or just diesels? It seems to run cool all the way arround, I don't know how well EGT and factory gauge are working. Lots of things, any sugestions? Thanks and God bless, John
