A couple of grand for the drivetrain and that fake body. We call that a "Bummer" not a Hummer.
Guy did not even pull off a decent poser vehicle. 33K reserve? Wishfull thinking. There is not anything worth even close to 33K there. Heak there still wouldn't be 33K worth if there were two of them.
That Hummer with straight axles and that chassis is still nothing more than a chevy truck with a big price tag.
Happy bidding.
The hummer axles are totally unsuited to those 52" tires. I bet the thing has never been off road. For the replacement of a hub on a portal axle you could go out and buy a complete used Dana 60. I bet the thing doesn't sell even for $20,000.
Then the Ford is running 44s on a Dana 44 behind a FE BB?? Yea, that would last all of one second off pavement then he replaced a 9 inch with a 8.8??? That is an upgrade?
Both ill thought out vehicles. Though the Ford does have more promise. I bet that doesn't even sell at $10,000.

Nope actually the Hummer axles won't put up with a 52 thats for sure. As a matter of fact the center chunk on a Hummer axle is cast aluminum... I should know I have been underneath hundreds of em. Not to mention they use CV axle shafts... nuff said. That Ford sure is purty but definately not built to wheel, too much chrome.
Those axles on the hummer are straight axles. The rear is a corp 14 bolt. Matter of fact that hummer is not a hummer. It is a 79K30 chassis. Could actually be only a K20. Nonetheless there is a whopping bid of $3500 US right now LOL!

real hummer may have an aluminum diff and cv shafts...but they also have portal reduction boxes after the shafts to take TONS of stress off the diff and shafts
