6.1 trans cooler HELP!!!
I have searched and it appears that I have a differant cooler set up than most. I have a 99.5 and the hard lines on the top of the stock cooler have an inverted flare that attaches them. Did anyone else have this? Did you cut the lines or hoses or were you able to adapt. Having trouble finding fittings to go from 1/2" hose barb to the inverted flare.

I did mine just about 2 weeks ago,also a 99. Just behind the right front wheel, my steel lines from the transmission had a piece or flexible rubber line, which went in to steel again at the cooler. I just replaced it from there with rubber hose, all the way to the cooler.
