Edge mounting alternatives

My pod that came with the tuner is...well...sloppy IMO. It doesn't stay put even with the heavy duty velcro that I bought to use in place of the stuff Edge sends with it...

SO....

Who here has gotten bored with the dash pod and mounted it somewhere else and do they have pictures?

No problems with mine staying put. No velcro/tape used.

I have the same problem my pod is warped and will not stick on the front and back at the same time. I have been wondering the same thing.

I painted mine to match and then used some 3M double side squares to adhere it down. Use the stuff all the time, doesn't leave residue either...and works great.

Well I really just didnt like the look of it up on the dash so I half-a$$ed a mount down where my CB used to be. I used some ABS plastic and built it up the used fiberglass and bondo on it and sanded. Then gave it a coat of paint. I am going to make another one at some point that fits flush and I actually take my time on, this was just a test one to see if I would like it down there. Its nice having it down out of the way, yet still visible.

I didn't like the look of it either, but once I painted the pod to match it looked really sharp actually. I like having the pod in sight so I can see the gauge cluster while towing without having to really take my eyes off the road.
