98 4.0 SOHC Windshield
Does anybody know if the windshield fitted to 98 4.0 SOHC Eddie Bauer is UV coated or not? These are also named athermic/ comfort / metalisedscreens. I am buying a Talex traffic camera detector and want to know whether I need the special kit for these windshields or not. 
I don't know if these things are legal in the USA but I live in the UK and they are legal here.
