Fuel Pump Module Assembly
Left Oklahoma today on family vaction and got as far as Arkansas and the truck (05 150 5.4) started bogging down around 2500 rpm. Made it to the local dealer and they ran diag. and said it was the fuel pump. Has many of you fella's had this problem. Priced me over $600. to fix it. I guess I'm here until tomm. Truck has 55k miles. Sure thought fuel pump would last longer than this.

I can't recall having read a post recently with a bad fuel pump, so I don't think it's a common occurrence. Especially with your low mileage. They have to drop the fuel tank to replace it so that explains high cost of replacement.
