Issues with the brakes again...
I had my ABS light come on a little over a month ago and I replaced the sensor which cured the light and spongey feel. While doing that I checked the front and rear brakes and the pads were in great shape. I'm getting a cushy pedal again and creaking noises through the brake pedal. Although pads look fine and brake fluid is good, what could be the issue? Do they need to be bled? I'mnot sure why that would be needed if nothing has been done to the brakes. Thanks

Sounds like the master cylinder is going south, if you've never done a brake fluid change it may take care of it. The aluminium lines create the black soot you see in the resevoir, it can create a build up and thickening of the fluid in the lines and is kind of like a artery full of plaque, the heart has to pump harder to get the blood through it.
I don't know how old your vehicle is, but a brake flush can be done yourself or generally a brake shop will have a special for around $49.
