ride quality

I have a 4'' suspension lift and was wanting to add approximately 1'' to 1.5'' higher and was looking at shackles for the front. I know only one shackle per leaf but my question is will doning this case my truck to have a rougher ride. I was talking to a friend but he did a shackle life on a Jeep (6"") and said the ride quailty sucked. Will shackles effect the ride. Just curious. I know in the rear I am just adding a larger block but I didn't want to block the front. Thanks

P.S. I have a 2000 Ford F-250 Diesel

Longer shackles change the way the leaf springs work and tension. I don't think it's a good idea for a daily driver.

Depending on which kind of lift you have, you could add a leveling box kit to a spring kit for 2". If you did a box kit, then you will need new springs and other odds and ends.

i also have a 4", and put a 1.5" warrior shackle on top of it.. the only difference i noticed was the increased height.
