Back for Camping
Just got back form our Camping trip at Pike Lake(sorry that I didn't give you a call fomoko, we were kept very busy with our families). Had a lot of fun and like all holidays it was way too short! The truck pulled the 8000lbs trailer pretty good, you sure notice that there is something behind you though! Gas mileage on the other hand was not so good, heading home from Saskatoon driving 100Klm with a bit of a head wind, we got 8mpg.

Ouch! 8 is pretty harsh. Oh well at least you had fun. That makes it all worth while.

Sounds like a good time Marlon, we will be headed out camping the last week in July. We just pull a tent trailer so I don't even notice it behind me.

sounds like an awesome weekend. wow, 8mpg is a little shy, but what can you expect. if it were every day that would be worth a diesel investment.

8mpg is kinda a kick in the nads! Look at it this way though, least it got you there and back no problem.
Maybe time to trade it in on a new 6.4?
