Hello all. I'm going to Columbus OH. to a Ford Swap meet in Nov.
We're going to be taking some parts to sell ranging from head's, intake's, block's, etc... We have two early model 2bbl small block's with low miles that are complete, except carb's. One is a 302, the other is a Windsor, and they run. What would be a good price to ask for them? I know what they are going for here in GA, but at a swap meet, and being that it will be in the North, I didn't know what to ask for them. Any advice?
Thanks,
Bill :-)
I am assuming the Windsor you refer to is a 351. If it runs good, has good oil pressure and doesn't smoke it out to be worth at least $50. You can drop it off at my house in Kentucky on your way to Ohio.
Seriously tho, it is worth whatever someone is willing to pay
for it. There is probably not much difference in price between Georgia and Ohio on engines. Price it at what you got to have out of it plus a little haggle room.

Danny, thanks for the reply! Yes the Windsor is a 351. Thanks for the advice. And hey, where ya at in KY? Maybe we will, stop by to see ya on the way....lol
We have $150.00 in both motors. They are not in a vehicle as of now, but I know the guy who we bought them from. The 302 was in a 70' Maverick and it ran when he took it out. The 351W was in a 74' Torino that ran also when he took it out. Good oil pressure on both. They have been sitting in a building for about 2yrs covered up. So I can just assume that they will still run with the proper preperation. I was hoping to get at least a little more than what we have in them. With the "Mustang" crowd looking HARD for the 302 & the 351W. At least in the Atlanta GA area anyway. Thanks alot for the info,
Bill
