Hard Shifting Question
I have a 96 F150 4x4 with a 5.8 and a E4OD trannny.96,000 miles. It started shifting hard from 1st to 2nd gear. Everything else seems fine. From what I have read in this forum, It sounds like maybe a broken or week spring in the tranny??? My question is... How long can I keep driving the truck the way it is, before I get it serviced? Will I do more damage by driving it this way? And 1 more question.... Anyone have a ballpark estimate on what repairs might cost at a good Tranny Shop?
