OK, I'm 38, always had sports cars....just bought my first pickup, a 2002 SuperCrew. Seem to like it pretty well. It's TrueBlue w/ Tan. Really striking looking.
Questions....
1. I think I need to put a bed liner in it. I was thinking about a spray on.
2. I'm also tinkering with getting a bug shield, is this worthwhile and where are the best places to get this stuff?
I really like your forum so far. I'm looking forward to hanging out here a lot with all you truck nuts.
Just one more thing to say.....DAMN THIS IS A BIG TRUCK!!
:-X12
Yeah, I would agree. If you're going to do any hauling you will want a bedliner. I liked the spray-on type, too. I think they come in colors. But, I bought my truck off the lot, and it was factory equipped with a Duraliner. It's very good.
Actually, it was also equipped with a bug shield. I had it taken off (should have kept it and sold it to you!). I don't seem to have a real problem with bugs (keep it well waxed), and, in MHO, the smooth look is better.

PS: You'll get used to the size very quickly (from a 300ZX driver)!
