Glad to see Atlanta is now just like Los Angeles! Except, it doesnt rain here, so the rugs are carried in the bed of a small pickup, with the back end dragging the ground.
rebo- Up here in Northern California, old Rangers are more popular than S-10's, and, oh yeah, the back end is usually dragging if it's a carpet mobile. One time I saw a Ranger with plywood sides at least 4 feet tall all the way around the bed. This was filled with yard clippings, and let me tell you, the axle was on the bump stops. The first Ranger "hard tail". And, you are correct, I see very few full size contractor vans around here.
well, with oak flooring weighing in at 2.7lbs a sqft and the exotics at 3.5lbs a sqft its not very likely that anyone will be picking up 500+ sqfeet and have room, for thier sanding / install equiptment in an s10
FWIW I had a guy offer me 1100 cash. I said sure, he said he'd meet today, then never got back to me...

Sorry to hear it. It is typical though.
That is why I pre-qualify them with having to show at least a few $100 in cash for a deposit. Otherwise they get to look, not drive, and I don't waste much of my time talking to them either.
For ones that want to make an appointment, I tell them to call me 1/2 an hour before they want to come over to look at it and if it is still for sale I will tell them. I don't sit around waiting for people to show up either.
What I do (of course sellers would never dream of sharing their blackball lists with other local sellers ;-> ) is keep track of all the phone numbers sorted by numerical order. Then a column with names and what they stiffed me for or never showed up to buy. Then I make sure when I get their phone number, that I do not call them back or answer their e-mail.
