I have a 89 Ford F-150 with a 5.8 Liter Engine 2wd. I want to put a 3 inch body lift on it. I can find them on the internet but none I can find come with the bumper brackets. Where can I get a 3 inch lift with the bumper brackets or where can I buy the brackets without the lift. I would greatly appreciate your help.

 

Try JC Whitney? I was looking for a body lift for my 95 GMC Jimmy (before I sold it)... The kits are made by Performance Accessories. If memory serves me correctly the 87-91 Ford body lifts did come with the brackets to raise the front bumper.

 

zacher12, I have an 89 f150 now and put a 3" body lift from Performance Accessories on my previous F150, a 2000.

Given how tight bolts have been to loosen all over the truck, be advised that getting bed and cab bolts loose on an 89 will be difficult. Not saying it's impossible, but be prepared for a few new words to come from your mouth.

they do not come with any bumper brackets. I just purchased a bodylift from jc whitney also performance acesories and they do not come with any bumper brackets.I will just make mine i guess.but the price was right.

 

u can also try summit racing. i just recently put a body lift on my 95 F350 and it came with the front bumper brackets
