I purchased a 2000 4WD F150 a few weeks ago, yesterday I used the 4WD for about 3 hours of off road driving, not racing, just rugged terrain with no problem. Today, I put the truck in 4WD and it feels like I have my brakes on, the truck will not back up or go foreward without the feeling of having brake on. The truck runs and drives fine in 2WD, no problem at all. Is this the transfer case, or what?? Please help.
