I am a newbie post at this site. I am a SHO enthusiast belonging to the V8SHO Club but I also love my truck, a 2002 King Ranch. I have a small problem that I would like input prior to just going at it. Driver side mirror has lost power and I can see the two wires have become disconnected. What is the correct manner for gaining access? I did look through the posts but did not see anything relevant. Hope I've posted correctly, please steer me in the right direction if I haven't. TIA for any advice.
If you need to get into the mirror the A pillar cover simply pulls off, then you pull the insulation off then unscrew 3 nuts to drop the mirror. If you need to get to the connector in the door you take the A pillar cover off, remove a bolt near the door handle and maybe a few screws at the bottom then pull the door cover straight up and off.
