So it's an International Harvester/ McCormick-Deering depending on what year you can find. Smallest thing that IH made that could really be called a tractor, was designed to pull a single plow. 100 inches long and about... 1200 lbs dry is my guesstimate.

10 HP, 4 cylinder, 2 5/8 bore, 2 3/4 stroke, 3/4 inch updraft carb
Was a 6V magneto, but has a 12V alternator now
A three speed tranny that tops out at 6 MPH .... and yes, it had a hand crank that I usually use to start it.
Here's my tractor, first time I pulled the hood off it and saw what I was gonna deal with:

I don't have a project, but I want to start one eventually. How much did you guys pay to get the vehicles you're working on? I'd really love to get an old Mustang for cheap and fix it up.

Where did you look for a vehicle? And how much were the Mustangs going for? I really want a nice car that I could fix up and then would look half decent, in the same lines as a Mustang. Any suggestions?

I looked in local junkyards and ebay, but any thing I found ether was too far gone to buy and fix or it was fixable and whoever owned it wanted an arm and a leg for it. And then when you go start looking for body parts to fix something it gets even worse.

Wow. I saw a '68 Mustang on eBay for around $600, but it has 5 days left. Half the fight is convincing my parents to even let me buy an old car to fix it up.

Just don't tell them! That's what I did with my first project. My dad about killed me when a rollback wrecker pulled in the driveway with all the strobes going and a beat up '86 Olds Cutlass on it. We were eating dinner and I could see the lights bouncing off the kitchen wall. When he looked out the window I almost died. He got over it a few months later.

Ha. The thing is, I'd probably have to borrow money from them to buy it and then pay them back. Maybe I should wait until Spring, until I have some more money saved up. Do you guys have any recommendations on what to get when I do get a car to restore? I don't really want a truck, and I'd like to to be kind of a muscle car, I don't know, like not a Taurus or anything.
