85 300 I6 Transfer Case ID

I understand that there are 2 or 3 different transfer cases that came on 85 F-150 trucks. What's the difference and where can I find the numbers. My dad just bought this truck and the rear output shaft seal is bad. I get to replace the seal but I haven't looked at the tranny and transfer yet.

there should only be one and it should be an NP208

bw 13-56 and bw 13-45, but you'll see these stamped in the casing left of the output shaft/yoke. the other is the np208.

On left side of transfer case is a metal tag. On the tag is the Ford ID code.

Sample: E0TA-7A195-AA

Post the ID code.
