Took my '04 6.0 Excursion in for a look-see as it was "sounding funny" when first strated in AM - almost like the old days when a carb was loading up.
Anyway they reflashed it with the aforementioned CTR8. Other than having to purchase new tunes for my SCT as a result. Did I get anything worth anything?

Just wondering.
Thx, Jim
The CTR8 calibration is the SuperDuty equivalent to the newest FSM8 calibration for the Nov.2003-May2004 2004MY Job2 build trucks. Ive had good luck with these calibrations and they seem to respond quite well to tuning without any glitches.
You made it sound like you had to pay for the reflash updates, would this be correct? If so, where did you get your original tuning from? As far as I know most custom tuners don't normally charge for reflash recalibration....I know I certainly don't.
