Flatbed on a 99

Ok heres the deal I have a 99 F-150 4x4 extended cab and I have been kicking around the idea of putting a flatbed on it. My bed is fine I just like the look of the aluminum flat beds like these

http://www.d2trailersales.com/hillsb.../truckbeds.htm

Has anyone in here ever put a flatbed on a 99? If so do you have any pics?

I think it would be ugly and a waste of money unless you need it for some purpose.

I don't think it would be very hard to put on...

Thats funny I don't think I asked about how my truck peforms with my wheels on it did anyone else hear me ask about that?

For those of you who gave me actual opinions thank you very much it is much appreciated. I will definately have to see a 99 with a flatbed on it to actually make a decision it was just something I was kicking around.

Gee JJ, my finger added a letter to "beds" and you get bent. Saw nothing wrong with the spelling in my previous post????? I'll check my spelling more closely if I reply to any more of your posts.........

My bad ranchero! and I don't use my bed very much it is just to high to really load anything with any size in it plus with the body lift I worry about buckling another reason why i am looking at the flatbed. (I would use that polished aluminum BED) Sorry I was alittle stressed out yesterday and jumped

I have seen a 97-03 F-150 that an old man put a flatbed on to use to haul oilfield equipment. Looked silly as he!!.

I used to have a client with a SuperCab flatbed. I personally think all single-rear-wheel trucks look very silly with flatbeds, including F250 and F350 SRW trucks (along with other brands).

i dont think they look that bad, i was in australia for a couple months and that is actually a very popular option from the factory on the ford utes out there, single wheel on each side with the flat bed, i dont think it looks that bad, and if its functional for you then no worries!
