Leveling Kit
I guess i started it so here goes the problem I had.
I restored a 1984 F-150 2 wd. In effort to make it look cool I put 20" rims and tires on it, big mistake! Tires rubbed on the wheel wells when I drove over any kind of bump and tight radius turns it rubbed on the sides of the wheels.
I think you are having the same problem I did in finding spacers to fit your truck or for the coils. Most spacers and blocks are made for 4wd models and not 2wd. None were made for mine. I went to a coil shop and they found a spring that would lift the front the 2" and was within the specs by Ford for the truck. Becareful not to put any coil in unless you check it against Ford's specs.
Worked great tires don't rub, now the truck rides as rough as Mechanical Bull! In order to get 'taller' spring they had to put a stiffer / stouter coil in. So watch out for that little surprise.
By the time they were done with a new alignment it was $600.00 for a 2" lift.
Hope this gave you some insight!
