Question Dan C

Man 'o Man. has taken forever to get here.
Have a '54 Ford V8 Y-Block in a old wooden boat ('54 Trojan) with hydromatic trans. The oil fix upgrade has been performed. Boat has only seen freshwater, and obviously very little use.
Trying to find out if it has more of a collector value than the boat does?
Thanks,
Dan C

Dan, welcome to the site. Your motor would be either a 239 or 256 cu in. Either way I do not think it has particular collector status. Most people want a 292 or 312 Y-Block. Some of the manifolds and the timing cover may have some particular value. They are listed on e-bay everynow and then, but I havent paid attention to the final prices.
Maybe you should find an old Ford car or truck to drop it into .

Wink Thanks 46YBlock

The site won't let me respond directly for 15 days.
Thanks for the info!
