i'm wanting to get a super 40 for my 07 f 150. i'm guessing the factory piping is 2 or 2.5 so would it make any difference if i got one with a 3 inch out, or even a dual 3 inch out? not really wanting to run true duals just want it to sound a little better. thanks ahead. later

That is exactly what I have is 3 inch SIDO super 40. It sounds really deep it has some drone in the cab but only around 1600 or so rpm (guestimate I dont have a tach) but it levels off and at highway speeds I can barely here it with the radio on I cant here it at all. As for performance I dont think I gained any it just sounds real aggressive when you get on it. There is only one thing I dont like about it is that you can see the pipe all the way up until the cat and that bugs me. If I could go back I probably would have put a turn down on it I dont like being able to see the pipe because youve got that nice chrome tip and the a ugly unfinished pipe behind it. It kinda makes it look half assed. its just a personal preference i guess.
