Fuel Guage

Ok so here is the issue I preformed the harpoon mod, and now my guage reads half a tank higher than when i actually have. any body have any idea it seams like the sending unit is just "confused" I already reset the computer didn't help. any help is appreciated

It probably got stuck when you put the unit back into the tank. Take the truck out on a rough road and it may fall back down. I remember reading last week that someone else had that same issue.

well it operates like normal it's just a half tank off so i dont think being stuck has anything to do with it and yeah i think that was me that had that issue i posted on the poon thread

When you put the sender unit back in , did you maybe bend the level arm. something to check. my .02 cents

i was really carefull not to bend it but i am going to drop the tank again tonight and take a look i was just trying not to drop the tank as doing it with one person is a pain
