Well guys, I finally sold my 97. Im sad to see it go. But I did get a pretty good price for it too.
Now Sometime this week, or next week, I am heading out to my uncles and will be looking at a mid 50's merc that my grandpa used to own. I figure I will get that to fill the emptiness from my 97 being gone!
Well from what I remember it was a 3/4 ton, and was in ok shape. My grandpa used it as a graintruck, and made a handy little chute in the side of the box, if I remember correct. I think it has potential though, and I will have to go and see it to refresh my memory abit.
Not the specific year, I know for sure I remember my grandpa was telling me it was a 50's, and it still has the big fenders on it, so it wouldnt be a 57, or 58, whenever they changes the body styles.
I just remembered too my uncle has another old merc of my grandpas, a 65ish 3/4 ton unibody. When I go out there, most likely later this week, early next week, I will be taking a ton of pictures.
Morris, you would love to go out there. There is a ton of cool old fords im sure you would love. He used to have some old galaxies and some other stuff too but he had an auction a few years ago and cleaned osme of it up. He has a ton of pre 30's stuff too.

That would be neat to see even though I`m more into the 50`s 60`s vehicles. Too bad about the auction or maybe that`s a good thing., I love the 60`s Galaxies....
Any model T-A stuff around there?
