Engine swap ?

Hi Everyone,

Will a 400M & C4 tranny go into a 68 F250. The truck has a 390 C6 currently. Are there any modifications to the mounts or trans brace. Also, is the C4 enough for the F250 or can I bolt the C6. I thought I was told there are different bolt patterns. Any help is greatly appreciated. I looking forward to starting this project.

If you are going to do any towing, you had better get a c6. I think the 400 is more commonly mated to a c6 since the 400 has the 460/429 bellhousing pattern.
