Hey I swaped my old 351M for a 460 and Im almost done putting in the 460(finally) and I just hooked up the dist. wiring and I cant remember what these little plugs comming out of the wiring harness are. There are two of them, and I even took a picture of them so everyone knows what im talking about.
Its late and I'm going to bed. I can't help with the wires right now but I just gotta ask.....How did you get your thumb to bend that way? Thats amazing!
Those appear to be the plugs that attach to the smaller terminals (S) and (I) on the starter solenoid. Don't remember right off hand which color goes which terminal.
On edit: Could also be the plug for the temperature sender, based on the apparent position in the picture.
