Off Road Get Together

A couple of us Louisiana boys want to get some kind of offroad ride together. We arn't having verry much luck in the Louisiana forums so I thought I would ask here. We are willing to travel. I havent ever done any rock crawling. Kind of hard in a full size truck that I dont want to bend up. Im looking for a mud bog or even trail rides with light rock crawling. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
Robert

Fall for All at GrayRock is Sept 7-9. I am plannin on being there as well as kubota. they have trails for the very stock jeep to the hardcore buggy trails that tend to make great storied after the weekend is over. They also have a mud pit at the bottom of the campin area that seems to be a popular choice for many.

it'd be a pretty hefty drive for you guys but thats about the closest large park i know of (not saying much)

You could hit up Clayton, OK, but that place has some pretty big rocks. Not sure how well a full size rig would fit on those trails either...

I read about a new place in North Central Louisiana in a town called Sicily Island. Here is a video:

Maybe you could contact LA4x4 and go out there with some of those guys.

Theres a good bit of trails at grayrock a fullsize will have no problems with....when mine had the long wheelbase and the bed i only hit a few trees, but i didnt care about body damage, as i dont now....although now theres not much body left to damage

There is this place it has a bog and drags and it's not to far from Baton Rouge http://www.statecapitolraceway.com/
This one is new, and it looks to be pretty good.

There is also a place is Abeville right outside Lafayette that has a big bog and drags http://www.duhonsmudhole.com/
I just looked at some of the pics, and it's been a while since I've been to this one, and it looks like they changed the mud pit(more water and levys), a lot more four wheelers, and the chicks got fat.
Either way, this one is pretty fun.

Other than that, Get to be friends with people that have a lot of land that they don't touch. I've got a few of them like that, and I can go mud ride or hunt(mostly creep geese) basically any time I want.

The closest thing to trail riding I've ever done was on my land through some trials in the woods I cut.
As far rocks, they only rocks I see or go on are the ones on the gravel roads to get to different places.
I'm in central La.
