'66 1bbl carb
Can anyone direct me to an exploded diagram, tuning/rebuild instructions of '66 F100, straight six carb? I dont know how to check the mixture, but at 7 mi/gal, I'm gonna start fiddlin' with it. Who makes this carb would also be helpful. Thx.

I recommend you go to your local parts store; if they let ya; open a rebuild kit and read the instructions on it. Usually the instructions are not inside the kit container and your able to open it without causing any package damage.
I purchase a holley 1bc from oreilly and thiers also champion & tomiken (Not spelled right) brand are commend reman carbs.

Yeah, I was hoping not to have to buy a manual because that usually means I'm keeping it. I haven't decided yet despite the new fuel pump, muffler, tach, and fender/door sand n primer. Sigh. I keep reading about a Ford F1 carb, but it doesn't look quiet right. If I could look at the rebuild directions long enough to determine my level of aptitude, I would. I've never worked on one before, however, I did get one to blast the hood of a '73 Duster with fireballs!!
