fuel pump

hey i was wonderin if any of yall know where my fuel pump would be located on my 4.9L inline 6 1994 ford f-150 xl. i have a 13 gallon tank if that helps. and if u know the easiest way to replace it let me know please. ok thanks

i belive it is the fueltank.

thanks yea i was thinkin the same thing since i couldn't find it anywhere else. you have any ideas on removing the old one?

First ya have to disconnect the fuel lines , then drop the tank , should be easy to get out from there.Make sure you either drain the fuel or run it til it is almost empty ,those tanks can get heavy.

why do you need a new pump?dose the truck run at all .You might just need a new relay. If you need a new pump take the bed off or drop the gastank remove the sender and pump. not a hard job just a pain in the a$$
