underdrive/overdrive pulley
Do you think these underdrive/overdrive pulley conversions are worth the money. Since the accessories are now running at different rpm with these is there any long term effect that is detrimental or is it more efficient?? I would start with the alternator one just to keep voltage up at idle. I don't know about the others.

The factory designs everything to meet a wide range of conditions. Changing the pulleys will give gains in one area while sacrificing performance in others. Overdriving will cost horsepower. Underdriving will increase horsepower while decreasing the performance of the object being underdriven. I don't think I would want a underdriven alternator pulley on a truck sitting in a snowstorm with the headlamps on, the fog lamps on, the wipers on, and the defroster on high. But if it was used just for cruising in the summer, it probably wouldn't hurt.
