tranny won't shift, blinking od light
last week i started noticing that my tranny wasent shifting right away, it was hesitating, and now the tc wont lock up it barley shifts and my od light is blinking.
any ideas

If its shifting bad, TC will not lock... yup... Dont feel bad, I blew the tranny in my 01 at 20k and again at 30k and again at 48k, this last one is going strong at 115k... Your truck came with the mechanical diode that are known to fail and take the rest of the tranny with it...

what years for the "mechanical diode"? mine's a 99.5 and shifts fine, but i'm getting ready to put a gooseneck in the bed for pulling a horse trailer and don't to leave 4R100 guts on the road!
