I am not an expert but I didnt think most 17" rims would fit over the rotors. I was looking for some for my truck and everyone said I had to go 18" on an aftermarket rim.
Offset is the distance the wheel mating surface is "offset" from the center of the wheel. If you have a positive offset the wheel will sit under the truck. If the off set is negative the wheel will stick out from the truck.
yeah I m aware about some rims 17" aftermarket will not fits but i was told that F150 2005 and up they changed capiler brakes (redesign or something like that) , 2004 dont.
I have seen some mojave on F150 2004 with no problem.
I went ahead and ordered Mojave 17x8. $609 to my door
