Mystery Electrical Box
Silver box. screwed by a tab next to the steering column. ~1"x2"x3"
3 wires
black/white
black
Brown
Markings on it are D5AB-I4C69o-AA-6E24
What is it?
I originally though it was the turn signal flasher... but there's an extra wire and they're the wrong colors.
P.S. Haynes wiring diagrams suck HARD
I used one for a fog lamp relay in a 85 Mustang GT and it plugged right up
Yes, dual tanks, but it doesn't seem to be related.
The brown wire makes me think running lights, but it doesn't make sense... maybe part of the tow package wiring?

My guess is that it's used for the clearance lights on the towed vehicle. This would take the load off the headlight switch for all the lights on a camper.
hmmm it wasn't hooked up and the trailer lights work. <cursing the PO>
