8.8 with speed sensor

I blew up my rear on I495 sometime ago. Its past the point of just using a re-build kit. Ive checked some of the local JYs but came up empty handed. Anyone know where I can find a used 8.8 for my 96? For a decent price that is.
My truck is a 96 351w/ E4OD/ stock gears.

Ditto, to what Kem said. If you are nearby, I have one sitting around. Its already out of the truck too. Came out of a 92.

You can actually use a rear end out of a truck or Bronco going to back till 1987. The rear ABS sensor doubles as the VSS in newer trucks.

Yep. Same sensor sending the same info just to different computers.
