7.5 injector question?
Does any one know if their is a better injector for a 96 f250 with 460 motor california emissions? I currentley have # F1TE-DIA injectors now and the motor seams like it running lean / lacking power

I just purchased the truck to replace the one my son crashed & totaled. It started hard (turned over 7-8 timesn befor starting. I changed all fluids,plugs,wires,fuel filter,cap & roter. the old plugs were white almost chalkey which makes me think its lean. with the changes it starts rite up but seams weak for a 460

Here's a test you could try; turn the key over 3 times in a row (listen for the fuel pump to cycle on and off), so that the fuel pump primes the lines, and then try to start it.
It's very rare to have all of the injectors go bad (at one time) unless the truck has been violated in some way shape or form.
