transfer output play/axle input play
I have a vibration that occurs on light acceleration or light deceleration just before a load is is imposed. Oh wait..........'94 F-150 5.8 4x4....ok, ujoints are new so i've isolated that problem. One piece driveshaft so it 's not a center bearing. There is a 1/16 inch of play at the rear and about an 1/8 play at the front of the driveshaft. (side to side) Is this normal? I am suspecting the transfer case output as it has the most play. The rear housing bolts seem to be maybe a 45 or 50 Torx? Any great input from those that have been there?
